Holguin GeographyThe province of Holguin is located northwest of the eastern region of Cuba, between 21°15 ‘, 20 ° 24′ north latitude and 76 ° 19 ‘, 74 ° 50′ west longitude.  It ranks fourth in size among the provinces with 9,292.38 square kilometers, representing 8.5 percent of the total land area.

Highest elevation: Pico Cristal at 1,231 meters in height.

Business
The city of Holguin has a developed machine industry, an industry of building materials, automotive workshops, food processing and electric equipment repairs, among others.  Tourism is another branch of the town’s economy and it also has a structure of commercial services in different branches.
